Visitors of the Adria Summer Festival will have the chance to enjoy the first solo performance of the American diva Grace Jones at the Arena, Pula. Her brilliant performances from the album Nightclubbing (1981) are still considered masterpieces today, while Slave to the Rhythm (1985) remains her most famous hit – a powerful blend of funk, art-pop, and experimental production.
Grace Jones is a Jamaican-American singer, actress, model, and pop culture icon who has been on the scene for over 50 years! Her style combines reggae, funk, post-punk, and electro, and with her reputation as a fearless and unconventional artist, she has inspired many – from Madonna to Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

Their rise to fame began with the release of their debut album Soldatski bal in 1985, and in record time, they won over audiences and were dubbed “the Beatles behind the Iron Curtain.” Even today, after 40 years of performing, they are still considered one of the most successful pop-rock bands in the region.
After a major comeback concert at Zagreb’s Arena on Valentine’s Day, it’s now Pula’s turn to sing along with this iconic band whose timeless hits have been beloved for decades by fans of all generations. Suada, Kaja, Bolje biti pijan nego star, Sava tiho teče, and Zelene su bile oči te are just some of the songs that the legendary frontman Saša Lošić Loša, together with his bandmates, will gift to an audience hungry for the hits of one of the region’s most beloved bands.
